Mount a partition in /home? | Webmin

Hi,

I noticed there's a place in Webmin where you can mount a partition into a directory.

Here's my question, I mounted it under /home and took down all my sites, so I'm wondering if I shouldn't be mounting it in /home, and maybe another directory like /extraspace?

If I would do so, how can I point a new virtual server to /extraspace rather than /home??

Howdy,

Well, your new partition is blank. So if you mount that on /home, it would make it appear that there is no longer any home directory data.

What you can do is temporarily mount it somewhere else, copy all your home directory data to it, and then once all the data is on it -- then you can mount it on /home.
