also i am trying to replace my internal network servers with a virtualized system. Since i don't have hardware raid i am using mdraid..if had hardware raid i would be using vmware. so the .local domains are required as they are internal.. None of these mahcine are going to be facing the internet in ecc.local. is kvm only designed to work in a truly Internet reachable FQDN configuration? If so then I have to reconsider my options,

instead of having it put the new kvm system on clooudmin.fbc.local i had it create the new kvm instance on localhost and it worked fine....seems like something isn't right in the cloudmin dns configuration.
hostname of host is virthost.ecc.local and the other machine is virthost.fbc.local.

sorry for the duplicates i kept getting error 500's...
