I have domain.com running happily on Virtualmin, and today I wanted to create domain.net
Both websites share the same "public_html" directory in the old server, they were aliases.
I want the same configuration through Virtualmin, but can't figure out how this is done.
I am concerned about this bug: https://www.virtualmin.com/node/12317
And not sure how it will impact me.
Am I better off making a new "Virtual Server" and using a symbolic link (ln -s) to achieve the common "public_html" folder?
Please advise...
Howdy,
You can do that by going into Create Virtual Server, and choosing to create an Alias Server from there.
Regarding the bug you linked to -- that's fixed in the next version of Virtualmin. However, its only a warning that you'd see when running re-check config, it shouldn't affect your functionality.
