DNS Config - What am I doing wrong?

First time I've had to actually fix up / configure DNS settings myself.

I've imported 2 cPanel backups but the DNS entries appear to be a bit screwed (IE: name servers didn't set right etc.)

Can someone point me in the right direction for ensuring a base setup in virtualmin/webmin/whatevermin will always load the right settings into a newly created server? Imported or Created New?

Additionally if someone wants to do a lookup on "daworm.net" and advise what settings I've done wrong?

So far I have configured my name servers so doing a host -t ns daworm.net shows the correct name servers. Digging through the menu's more I found this when I validated my virtual servers.

daworm.net Apache website : No Apache virtual host for daworm.net found Webalizer reporting : No Apache log found for virtual host daworm.net

I cannot seem to find how to configure a virtual host for the server.

More looking so far using my meager abilities...

Should I alter my default zone config for new master servers?

And put it in as this? http://pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=225

STILL more digging (learning as I go)

Doing some command line lookups.

[root@server var]# host daworm.net 68.233.226.128 Using domain server: Name: 127.0.0.1 Address: 127.0.0.1#53 Aliases:

daworm.net has address 68.233.226.127 daworm.net mail is handled by 5 mail.daworm.net. [root@server var]# host daworm.net 68.233.226.127 Using domain server: Name: 68.233.226.127 Address: 68.233.226.127#53 Aliases:

daworm.net has address 68.233.226.127 daworm.net mail is handled by 5 mail.daworm.net. [root@server var]# host daworm.net 68.233.226.129 Using domain server: Name: 127.0.0.1 Address: 127.0.0.1#53 Aliases:

daworm.net has address 68.233.226.127 daworm.net mail is handled by 5 mail.daworm.net.

So somewhere I've messed up the additional IPs are they are pointing to the wrong thing?

Hurm... I'm getting somewhere, now a error page for a subdomain comes up. I think importing the cpanel virtual servers has seriously fubar'd something.

Gave up, deleted it all and trying from scratch for a newly created account.

Still cannot figure it out. 'ELP!

FINALLY found the issue.

After exhausting all my issues with server config etc. I decided to ping my server IPs EXTERNALLY to my server (to make sure they were working. IE: ns1 / ns2 assigned IPs.

NOT working..

So, raised a ticket with host and got IP routing configured properly and 2 minutes after getting the e-mail back saying so.

loads... :D
