Password length with LDAP

Password length with LDAP

Hello,

I use virtualmin with LDAP and when user has password 'qwertyuopasdfg', he can log in with first eight characters - 'qwertyui' and also 'qwertyuianything'.

Can someone please help me how to avoid this behavior?
