Restore failed! ..a clash was detected : The domain example.com is already hosted by your Apache webserver

Hi there! tried to restore multiple domains from old server to new one. All domains restored, but one won't! New server is Debian 9 "Re-creating virtual server example.com .. .. a clash was detected : The domain example.com is already hosted by your Apache webserver

Please help me with this issue!

Howdy,

That can happen if the domain you're trying to restore already exists in Apache, but isn't part of the Virtualmin installation.

You may need to review your Apache configuration to see if that domain had been added to it prior to Virtualmin being installed.

The key would be to remove the "VirtualHost" section from Apache that references that domain -- once you do that (and remove any other clashes), you should be able to perform a restore.

Thank you Eric for replay, you where right, I just couldn't find where it is on Debian 9, but at last I found somewhere in /var/www. Removed and issue gone. Thank you again!
