I am using Webmin/VirtualminPro 1.892 in a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 installation. When I click in Webmin/Ssystem/Jailkit jail Manager menu I get this error:
Welcome to Authentic Theme 19.20-beta2 https://github.com/authentic-theme/authentic-theme :10000/jailkit/ Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Perl execution failed).
What I am trying to do is to restrict ssh user rights to the file system.
Is there any solution for that?
Fernando.

Howdy -- when receiving that 500 error, what message(s) do you see in the Webmin error log? That's located in /var/webmin/miniserv.error.

There os no entry in the error log because this error is a javascript error in bundle.min.js line 246 that came from https://github.com/authentic-theme/authentic-theme.

I used chrome at first, now I changed to firefox and the behavior is almost the same, the difference is that using firefox I can't see error in console, but the server doesn't answer. Nothing happens.
Fernando, hi.
What happens if you switch to Virtualmin Framed Theme?
Could you share here the exact requested URL that is failing to load?
By the way, there is 19.20-beta4 is out. Give it a try at first.

Hi, I found the solution, the package libconfig-inifiles-perl was missing in my system, after I installed it the issue was solved.
But, I think there is something missed in the docs or in the installation script that I donloaded from Virtualmin Pro. What I did was to create a new vm in VirtualBox, installed a regular, not a live, Ubuntu 18.04 server iso and use the installaton script that I got in my Virtualming account panel. It was a smooth installation with no error.
Maybe this package installation should be added to the install script.
Thanks for your help. Regards, Fernando.
Fernando, thanks a lot for detailed information, and the solution.
We will fix that.
Have a great day.
@josefsmvm When installing Ubuntu 18.04, which version was that? Netinstall? Desktop/Server?

It is a server.
This should be fixed on new installs. I've added another attempt to add the universal repo to Ubuntu systems, even if they have a stripped apt sources list.
