Hello,
It seems that the Clamd version (0.98.5) provided in virtualmin repo is more than year older than the version provided in the Epel repo for example. Is there any specific reason to install it from virtualmin repo rather than the newer version in EPEL? Will everything work as expected if we update it from epel?

Howdy -- thanks, I'll pass that along to Joe.
I believe EPEL is where Joe obtains the ClamAV packages that go into the Virtualmin repo... you may want to verify that the package names match up, but if they do it may certainly be worth a try to see if you can replace the EPEL version with what you have now.
