Hi,
Yesterday i created a backup schedule and i saw the option for increamental backup (under backup level). But today i don't see the option anymore (the "backup level" is disappeared). Perhaps some service / components stops working properly.
Anyone know how to get it back?
Thanks!

One more detail, i have just tried to backup using command line with the --incremental option. The output was
The configured backup format does not support incremental backups
Without the --incremental option, it works fine, but that is a full backup

Howdy -- which backup format is it that you're using?
If you aren't already, I might suggest using the "One file per server" option.

That was the format that i chose. Anyway, it doesn't matter which format being used, the option for incremental backup is not there.
In the command line, i used --separate option to indicate "one file per server"
Thanks!

Also, are you using ZIP format backups? Because they don't support incremental.

I'm not sure what is going on. When i click on "Backup virtual servers" on the left sidebar, by right i should see the "Backup Level" section at the bottom of the page which has option for incremental backup. But now that option is not there. The available backup format are: Single archive file, One file per server (old format), One file per server. There is no option to choose Zip or Tar or anything else
Also, if i use the commandline, how to specify the format for the backup? I don't see the parameter in the API documentation.
Thanks!

The zip format issue Jamie mentioned isn't actually set on that screen.
You can verify that setting by going into System Settings -> Virtualmin Config -> Backup and Restore.
What is the "Backup compression format" option set to in that screen? It's set to gzip by default, but if that were changed to "zip", that would cause the behavior you're seeing.

Oh, yes, you are right, the current option was ZIP, i have changed it to Gzip and see the incremental backup option now.
I don't know what caused the problem. The thing i'm sure is that i didn't change that default setting.
Thank you very much for your great support!
