how to fix the problem in apache2

hello,

i have a problem to running apache

i just fire the command

service apache2 start Failed

when i check the status

service apache2 status

when i check error file is show the message:

input output error: could not create /var/run/httpd2.pid

kindly provide me solution as soon as possible
