Hi!
I've been using Virtualmin GPL for about 6 months now (with great success I might add) and is also quite pleased with Usermin. However, I now have a new employer which doesn't allow connections to ports other than 80, 443 and 8080 from their network. In other words, I can't read my mail from work. My question therefore is, is it possible to change what port usermin uses? For now I have just setup a squirrelmail-installation on another domain, but I think it's a hassle to use two different webmail solutions. (Also a problem with the sq-mail is that I can't get the webmail.domain redirect to work either, it still just redirects to usermin).
I appologize for a messy post, but hope somebody can help me. Thank you!
BTW, thanks for a great product!
Sure... if you go into Webmin -> Webmin -> Usermin Configuration -> Ports and Addresses, you can change the Usermin port in there.

this is very simple, I have always done, change the virtualmin door, but I can no longer use the subdomain webmail.mydomain.com, why? he always redirect pair the old port 20000, page note found. I have to use: mydomain.com:newport to access usermin mails.
Thanks, I never even thought of checking there. Works like a charm! :)
if the port is already occupied by other processes during the initial installation, there is the possibility to choose a different port before installing? Thank you.
I had the same problem. My employer blocks all but 80 and 8080. But they allowed putty shell access... so If you have shell access, you can do this to change the port
You should be all set to login to webmin with port 8080 instead of 10000 now.
