Hello,
I am new to XEN and Cloudmin. I have successfully installed XEN open source and created manually a VM however then I decided to install Cloudmin GPL so I can manage them.
Cloudmin was installed OK and configured, apart from a small issue with perl described here ( http://www.virtualmin.com/node/20981 ).
When I installed Cloudmin I went to startup my 1st vm I got this error: .. failed : Using config file "/xen/pbx1.cfg". Error: HVM guest support is unavailable: is VT/AMD-V supported by your CPU and enabled in your BIOS?
Do I NEED to have this support in my system to run Cloudmin? Because I have no problems running the VM instance I created manually (before Cloudmin).
I searched forums however 2 similar posts seem to unanswered. Any help is much appreciated.
Thank you.
no you NEED to have the available in your system to run kvm or just about any other hypervisor. What cpu make and model do you have?
