Hello,
I have a VPS server, let's say domain.com, that is configured to forward all email messages to my gmail address. For example person@yahoo.com sends an email to contact@domain.com, that is forwarded to my email address, me@gmail.com.
I reply to that email from me@gmail.com, and if person@yahoo.com wants to reply, the email address that he will reply to is me@gmail.com. How can i make the email he replies to to be contact@domain.com?
I searched on google, but i couldn't find anything.
Thanks!
Howdy,
Well, it's up to the email client to set the email's from address.
So you'd need to change your email client to use a different address. If you're sending those messages from the Gmail web interface -- they offer a way there to set the address emails are sent from.

Thanks!
I found this : https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=22370 and it works pretty much as i wanted it to.
I just thought that it can be done from the server settings.
Super, glad you got it figured out!
