Have installed the AMI CentOS and all looks well. The basic webserver runs and I am able to get the logon page via curl on the Amazon server via Putty. However I can not get there from a browser.
Have set all of the permissions and they are all set to Accept. See nothing in the logs either. The service is running.
No clue at this point. Just a bog standard install.
Have seen several issues here in the forum, however none seems to apply directly. All of the Amazon commands function from my local machine as well. It must be a firewall thing but can not seem to find it.
What error message are you getting inyour browser? Can you access your server from another network? Can you telnet to the proper port from your Amazon server? Have you made any firewall modifications? What do you see if you port scan your server from the Amazon server? What do you see if you port scan it from a network from which you have access?
