Defaults for new mailman lists

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to set default settings for new mailman lists, especially for privacy and archiving? Both of these sets of options default to open-to-the-world, which is a potential privacy risk, especially when combined with a forgetful operator, like me.

I can't find anything in the mailman module settings that looks like it would help.

Yeah, I don't think you can from within Virtualmin -- however, Mailman itself may have a mechanism for setting defaults for new lists.

It looks like you can set a number of things in /usr/lib/mailman/Mailman/mm_cfg.py.

You might look at /usr/lib/mailman/Mailman/Defaults.py to see what settings are available.
