Hello all,
I am new to Virtualmin and I am "kicking the tires" so to speak before going to Pro. I installed on a fresh Debian 5 install and everything installed without a hitch.
When I create a domain, it works perfectly. I create a second domain, and it creates fine.
Now, when I try to browse the first site, it works great. I try and browse to the second site, and it goes to the 1st site.
The server is using a single IP address, however, I thought it was designed to work this way.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions on what to check?? The sites are not using SSL or Virtual FTP.
Thanks VERY much in advance.....
~Tim
I would always check dns through http://intodns.com first and see if there are no errors. Then I would start looking at apache and networking settings
Logs may contain additional information, under Logs and Reports are the apache logs
Well, I did check the DNS and it is ok. Also, in the Apache logs, there is nothing poping out their either.
Anything else to check?
Well, I think I got part of this fixed. Since the actual domain resides on a different server, ie www.domain.com, and I was trying to put a development site up for a domain dev.domain.com, I needed to put this complete name in the Virtual Server.
So when I created the domain the first time, I used domain.com instead of dev.domain.com. When I used the later, everything works.
Cheers!
