I've created a Virtual Server with this settings: Domain name: mydomain.dk Custom username: mydomain.dk
Almost everything I excellent, but I got some problems: 1) The default e-mail created for the user is: mydomain.dk@mydomain.dk. How can I change this to something like webmaster@mydomain.dk? 2) In "edit sever template" on section "mail for domain" I've selected to send a message with login-information to the user and with cc to my email. But none of us are recieving this mail. What can the problem be? 3) When I log into phpmyadmin with the new user the user can see the "information_schema" database. How can I change this? 4) I'm trying to connect to my mail from Outlook. What are the "incoming mail server" and "outgoing mail server"? I've tried imap.mydomain.dk and smtp.mydomain.dk without succes.
I'm using a custom "Server Template" but cannot find a setting to change this. Hope someone can help me?
A "webmaster" alias is created, by default, pointing to the domain owner account.

Yes, but still from the webmail I've to login with "mydomain.dk@mydomain.dk". I would like to login with "webmaster@mydomain.dk".
Ah...so that's not really...the way things are meant to work. (I'm stuttering a bit, because it's just not anything I've ever thought about. It seems a little odd to me.) ;-)
I doubt Virtualmin will allow you to use @ in the domain owner username...so names need to be unique, and "webmaster" is only going to be unique for the first domain you create.
Basically, I think you're going to be fighting Virtualmin to do things this way, and I'd suggest sticking with the default.

Ok, I'll do that!
What about some of the other questions. Can you help me? What about question #4?
mail.yourdomain.com should be it... give that a try..
How should I setup MX on DNS for the domain?
By default, Virtualmin should be adding a MX record to the DNS for you.
It uses mail.yourdomain.com for the MX record -- so mail.yourdomain.com is the MX, as well as the incoming and outgoing mail server.

Right now I'm not using the DNS on my server but on a free DNS-server (gratisDNS.dk). Is that a problem?
It's not a problem, it just means you'll need to setup your names/ip's within that service.
So you'll have to setup an MX record that points to your box's IP address, that's all.
