I've searched around the forums but nothing that I believe is help to me...
I receive this:
The Suexec command on your system is configured to only run scripts under /var/www, but the Virtualmin base directory is /home. CGI and PHP scripts run as domain owners will not be executed. .. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin. This is running under etch, I read somewhere that using the right repos may help?
As in:
http://www.virtualmin.com/forums/limit/10/limitstart/0/virtualmin/suexec...
This is virtualmin pro installed via the copy paste command from the serials page of our account. I have nothing that needs backing up so can I just rerun that copy pasted command with the proper sources?
My current sources are:
deb http://ftp.ca.debian.org/debian/ etch main deb-src http://ftp.ca.debian.org/debian/ etch main deb http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main deb-src http://security.debian.org/ etch/updates main deb http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile etch/volatile main deb-src http://volatile.debian.org/debian-volatile etch/volatile main deb http://xxxxxxx:xxxxxxx@software.virtualmin.com/debian/ virtualmin-etch mainThat last one I took out the codes because I assume that is privy info
Thanks!<br><br>Post edited by: AbitatSupport, at: 2008/11/03 08:13
Well I fixed the problem by not installing apache with the OS install so that virtualmin would install it's own version.
Worked like a charm, but would still like to know what I could have done if installing the OS was not an option.
