Postfix Relay access Denied - from external client

Note: sorry about the repeated post. Because my post had the same title as another the forum link would not work correctly

I have tried for 2 weeks to fix this email relay issue and am loosing the will to live so any help will be gratefully received.

Postfix and Dovecot are running on my Centos 5 box. Sending and receiving emails using Usermin works fine and I can also connect to the server using Eudora and Outlook to receive emails from the server.

However I cannot send mail from Outlook or Eudora no-matter what setting I use in the â

Yeah, it's actually there, it's just not always easy to get to :-)

Sorry the edit link uses the title :-)

I believe one of the items on Joe's current todo list is to resolve issues such as this -- as you can attest to, it can be frustrating :-)

In the meantime, you should be able to see the two responses to your post using the link above -- hopefully something in there will help resolve your Postfix problem!

Yes, the website is getting a major overhaul as we speak, and this particular forum software will be going away.
