Debian 4 box, newest Virtualmin.
I am using dynamic dns from dnsexit.com. I moved my server from one location to another to get faster internet, so of course my IP changed. I updated it at dnsexit and everything seems to work, except I'm not getting any email to any of the accounts. Outlook logs in and checks the email with no problem, and the server sends it OK, just doesn't get any. Could this be because of the IP change at dnsexit? Does it have to propogate through the internet again?
Also are there any plans of adding dnsexit to the dynamic dns section of virtualmin so I don't need a separate client running?
Thanks

If this is a dynamic IP service and your domain is a subdomain to the dynamic DNS service (like myserver.dyndns.com) then normally propagates immediately.
If it's on the other hand your own domain name, then any changes need to propagate all over the Internet, a process that can take up to 48 hours.
During this time all sorts of funny effects can occur, such that some e-mail go to the old IP and some to the new.

Actually it turned out to be something in the firewall. I had everything setup (as far as I knew) and it worked from within that network, but once I got outside, I couldn't get to the site. I fixed it now by using a second firewall that allowed a dmz to forward to the same subnet.
Thanks.
