Just edit the Owner Limits under Administration Options for the server (or add it to the Server Templates that you use, if you'd like to add it automatically to newly created domains), and check the box next to "MySQL database" and/or "PostgreSQL database" in the "Allowed features for servers" section. Then in the "Edit capabilities for virtual servers" section, check the box next to "Can manage databases".
You can also limit the number of databases that a user can create using the "Maximum allowed databases" option.
If modifying for one or more Server Templates, you'll find these options in the "Default domain owner limits" section.
Nope, I'm pretty sure it's in both GPL and Professional, though the sections are laid out a little differently, due to the theme being different.
You may first need to make sure you've got one or both databases setup in Webmin (the Webmin MySQL and PostgreSQL modules have to be working) and configured for use in the Module Configuration.
1. created a domain user
2. logged in as that new user - but cannot create databases, though the new user can create unlimited amount of databases, and has I blv the right privledges...
I followed the info in this thread - still no ability to create - any help on this would be appreciated.
Same problem for me, using the Virtualmin 3.43 GPL, I create a virtual server, grant the "Can manage databases", "Can choose databases names" and the "create" button never appears when I log in with the virtual server's owner user.
Hey Nicholas,
Yep, this is already possible.

Thanks for the answer. I am able to get it done by going into the domain and Edit Owner Limits.
But I am unable to see "Default Domain Owner Limits" in the templates.
Best regards
I don't find those options in GPL version. Is it only for Pro version?
