File Manager - Thoughts and Wishes

First, Thanks for fixing all File Manager issues and requests!

Sorry for always getting back to File Manager, but that is my main tool and I am using it at least 75% of my working time, on daily basis, and I think I should report things that in my opinion could be better! So, all points below is about File Manager in Authentic Theme.

1. File manager container vertical size - You can now use almost the whole area horizontally, but the vertical size varies all the time depending on number of files/folders in selected folder. And when there are just a few files/folders the window gets really small in height making the treeview rather useless. I don't understand why file manager container varies in size instead of using all available space all the time. There are NO benefits in having the window change in height all the time.
2. Tree view - This window should be re-sizable in horizontal size! Either by expanding it by cursor or by setting (static size). Deep folder structures is hard to work with.
3. Tree view - Scroll bar handle is way to small, and there is some kind of rubber band effect on the scroll... really annoying, especially if the tree view is small in height! When you grab the bar and move it to your folder and release it when you see the folder the scroll keeps going, and moving my folder out of site! I again have to grab the bar or maybe scroll the mouse wheel (since it rather close) to get in site again! I think the scroll must stop instantly when you stop the handle!
4. Tree view - Don't show the "expand-arrow" on all folders containing sub-folders. The folder has to be clicked several times or double-clicked, but some folders do have the "expand-arrow"! Either all should have the arrow or none, this has to be consistent!
5. File manager file/folder view columns - Some columns is way to wide, like the permissions column! If it is the column heading that is expanding the column then the heading should have like overflow hidden. Because if file manager is used on smaller screens it is really important to have columns as tight as possible, anyway not with so much "air" like permissions.
6. File Editor (text) - Selected text color is way to dark! Depending on color coding the text is really hard to see/read. Selected color could be some kind of middle gray instead.
7. When saving file manager configuration the green save progress spinner goes on for ever, but if you click "Return to previous page" the changes seems to have been saved. This don't happen all the time, and some times if refreshing browser everything works again. But it looks like it goes back to not leaving configuration when save is hit.

The most important thing for me would most definitely be 1, but also 2 is rather important.

These are just some of my thought and wishes to further improve your excellent File Manager!

Almost forgot... and actually not a file manager question - Why is Virtualmins favicon no longer used, I think Virtualmins beautiful and clean logo should be used since it is a Virtualmin software. :)
