Hi,
I am getting this error, when i try to start ConfigServer Security & Firewall - csf v9.30 This started after i done some updates, the kernel was 1 of them. I read on another forum i would need to recompile the kernel, is this some thing that may solve this problem?
iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table `filter': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?) Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded. Error: iptables command [/sbin/iptables -v --policy INPUT DROP] failed, at line 1186
Thanks

Howdy -- we're unfortunately not too familiar with CSF.
However, doing a little Googling I do see that one possible cause of that error is due to limitations in some providers VPS setup.
Are you by chance using a VPS? And if so, is your VPS running OpenVZ?
Another possibility is that the kerne was updated, but the server wasn't rebooted.
If you haven't rebooted yet, you may want to give it a reboot and see if that helps.
