Howdy -- there isn't actually a supported way to upgrade MySQL, as MySQL is provided by your distribution. They don't offer an upgrade path for that.
There are ways to do it using third party repositories.
It looks like you're using Virtualmin GPL there though... this area is for folks using Virtualmin Pro. My suggestion would be to create a new Forum post, and there, ask this same question, and you can get some ideas from them how to go about it.
Note that there isn't a supported way of doing it though.
