Hi
The LetsEncrypt Tab in the SSL management area, should be not visible if root so wishes this to domain owners.
The reason being, some server owners may have been selling ( affilaite ) SSL certs
If that is so, and an update is issued where all domain owners see this new free offer ...
I think you get the point.
Andreychek, pointed me here to make an issue.
I personally think it is important, I myself have been thinking off affiliating with SSL cert companies as LE, while being good, falls short at the moment in many respects.

We've been selling domain verified certs to clients as well. I'm now considering whether it would be better to offer all clients a free domain verified SSL and only sell extended verification certs to clients who really need them i.e. shops etc. It would mean a change in the sales pitch but also ensure their customers can be confident the site they are buying from really has been checked out. Unfortunately most consumers have no idea what SSL certs are, let alone the difference between the levels of applicant verification so it could be a pretty hard sell :( Craig

So are you looking for a way to make the SSL page visible, but hide the Let's Encrypt tab only?
Yes, maybe in the 'Edit Owners Limits' area?
CraigL has a point though I suppose.
But that choice should be up to root, so I personally think the option to hide the tab should be available. Hopefully soon.
Bit like the scheduled backups option, I don't give that to all.
Apparently it will happen but just Pro users.
Thanks a lot guys. Sorry I brought the issue up and gave you an idea. Bit cntsh that.

We understand not everyone is thrilled about this, but for the time being it was decided to add this feature only to Virtualmin Pro.
The goal certainly isn't to upset anyone, and we know Welshman really wanted to see that feature available in Virtualmin GPL.
For better or worse, we need to keep Virtualmin Pro appealing to folks... we're a small operation, and if folks don't have an interest in purchasing Virtualmin Pro, Virtualmin (Pro and GPL) will cease to exist.
We'll certainly discuss this issue further, but for the time being it's just a Pro feature. Sorry!
