Under cloud storage providers for backup. It would be nice to be able to use a webdav path. This would allow for easy integration for backup to Owncloud etc...

That's not a bad idea ... I will look into it. In theory this should be technically possible, assuming that webDAV allows listing of remote directories.

Any news on this one?

No, we haven't looked into it. Likely this won't get implemented anytime soon, due to lack of demand.

Is there a feature list where we can vote on this feature. I would also like this possibility. Currently I mount the webdav folder using davfs but this is not entirely reliable. When an upload fails the davfs still gives an ok back so the backup script thinks that everything went alright.

Thanks for your comments!
Sorry there unfortunately isn't a way to vote on features; though the ability to vote on features isn't a bad feature request for the future :-)

Or just do a crowdfunding for good features(for the gpl version ofcourse) like piwik did in the past. I would also like this feature. https://crowdfunding.piwik.org
Is ftpes an option (please if you will ever do it, do not provide only webDAV, but webDAVs too)? I am really waiting for this one for quite some time because If you don't have SSH access tot the offsite service, the only options are:
FTP - totally insecure, it should never be used if the backups are leaving your LAN;
the paid ones like Amazon and stuff; I shouldn't be buying stuff, if my ISP already offers me some free space in their cloud, or a friend wants to help.
So you end up with the insecure FTP or have to pay? Well... no offsite backup then :)

I don't believe there's a way to specify FTPS.
Would it be possible to store the backups on your server, and then setup a script to copy the files to your desired location?
You could use a script to connect via FTPS or another protocol, and that will work even if Virtualmin doesn't currently support that as a backup destination.
Well it's a feature request, so If you could do it would be great. I use your software exactly not to manage my own scripts. Yeah sure I can, and I am doing that.
But anything added on the backup side of Virtualmin will make the thing even awesome that it is. For me the automated backups, the template system, and the online editing of files, are your corner stones.
I want "WebDAV " too on the cloud for backup and restore virtual servers. please bring this
