I set the default website for the ip address but it just takes the website with is first alphabetically ignoring my setting.

Howdy -- what domain did you set the default website to?
And what is the output of this command:
ls /etc/apache2/sites-enabledIt's possible that Apache may just need to be restarted, but the above will show if that's the case.
