Greetings!
Please forgive me if I can't express myself very good; here is my problem:
I want to add a subdomain to my domain. I have understood that I have to add a new subserver to my virtual server.
The DNS entries for my top-level server are synchronized with a second DNS server provided by Schlundtech, so whenever I change DNS entries in my top-level server, they are copied to the second DNS server.
But if I create a detached sub-server with its own DNS management, how will the DNS server at Schlundtech know that there is a new subdomain to my master domain?
So my question is if it is possible to configure the top-level server to transmit the subdomain data to another DNS server or if it is possible to administrate the subdomain's DNS data within the top-level domain DNS.
