Postfix queue delay issue

Hey guys,

I've read and poked around postfix a bit but can't seem to get the queue delay on my system to be a reasonably quick time. Any pointers on what config settings are best to tune this, or what factors to check for the holdup would be very appreciated. Here's an excerpt from my mail log, the delay times I experience tend to range from 600-900+

Feb 16 17:04:36 server postfix/local[31810]: 4C7F3F3CB9: to=, orig_to=, relay=local, delay=899, delays=0.1/0.01/0/899, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered to command: /usr/bin/procmail-wrapper -o -a $DOMAIN -d $LOGNAME)
Feb 16 17:37:20 server postfix/local[352]: 4635DF3CB7: to=, orig_to=, relay=local, delay=878, delays=0.22/0.01/0/878, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered to command: /usr/bin/procmail-wrapper -o -a $DOMAIN -d $LOGNAME)

It has behaved this way from the start, a fresh debian etch install with vmin GPL then almost immediately upgraded to pro.

Thanks,
Gabe
