Hey Jamie,
This has come up a few times...the fact that there are two Save buttons on the Read Mail configuration page for Usermin is confusing. Folks scroll all the way down, click save, and find that nothing has changed.
Making this into one Save button, or splitting it into two tab-separated pages, would solve this problem (though tabs shouldn't be stateful in this way--the Save button on either tab should save the contents of both, but that's not the behavior we have anywhere else...another bug-like, but a smaller one).
